2016 Team Record / Info – (22-6) overall Lost in AAA State Championship to BHP. Lower State Champs, District VII champs, and Region VII Champs. Graduated three college signees: Grayson Stoneking Presbyterian College, Liam Bloom Coppin State, and Hunter Spencer Coppin State

2017 Team Outlook – The 2017 team returns 14 out of 20 roster spots and five starters, including the entire infield and the majority of its pitching, including all state pitcher Anthony Peck (JR). Peck went 9-1 on the mound with a 1.04 ERA. He also has the highest returning batting average of .307 and plays 3B. Up the middle, Cameron Dean (JR) and Jacob English (JR) make up possibly the best double play combo in the state. South Carolina signee, Jacob English leads returners with 18 runs and 9 stolen bases and will bat at the top of the lineup and create havoc on the base paths.  At 6’4”, Cam Dean will be a big mound presence (2-1 2.58 ERA) and continue to turn heads with his shortstop play. Parker Rabon (JR) returns and has been a 2-year starter at 1B and has led the region in batting average in 2015-2016. Rabon leads returning players with 18 RBI’s and 24 hits and will bat in the middle of the shark’s lineup. Tony Norcia (SR) returns as a corner outfielder with one of the strongest arms in the game and will be big on the mound (1-2 7.27 ERA). Harrison Scott (JR) has started in the outfield since freshman year and adds speed to shark lineup. Kolby Robtoy (SR) was the closer in 2016 and logged 19 relief innings (2-2, 5 saves, 1.47 ERA). Rounding out the returning pitchers are Maddy Hammonds (SR) 1.68 ERA, Lake Shulze (SR), Nick Bray (JR), and Andrew Leo (SO). Gavin Lewis (SR), Andrew Leo (SO), and Cole Prosser (JR) will be in the mix in the infield and Prosser will also share time in the outfield to get his stick in the lineup. Catching will be 6’5” Trystan Freeman (JR) and Austin Short (SO). Two big newcomers that will make an immediate impact are: Tyler String (JR) pitcher and infielder from New Jersey and Cam White (JR) pitcher and 1B from Georgia.
